What We Do

Vehicle Recovery And Transportation

At Crash Services we provide vehicle salvage and towing services for vehicles and machinery. We have an extensive Fleet of recovery vehicles enabling us to transport Vehicles, Vans, Campers, Caravans, Trucks, Trailers and Machinery up to 5T. Your vehicle can be towed to a location of your choosing or to our secure indoor storage facility pending insurance decision. We are available 24/7/365 ensuring service is available when you need it.

Comprehensive Roadside Assistance

The team at Crash Services pride ourselves on providing a prompt and professional roadside assistance service. We can assist with problems such as Flat batteries, punctures, or lockouts to get you back on the road quickly. For more serious mechanical problems we can transport you and your vehicle safely to your garage or home, or we can offer guaranteed secure storage in our fully indoor alarmed building.

Impounds

When a vehicle is impounded the Registered Owner receives a copy of the paperwork. Please contact Crash Services within 5 days to provide an email address for paperwork to be sent to. We are required to hold your vehicle for 28 days after which it is available for collection during business hours only, 8am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Payment must be made in full prior to the vehicle being released. If you require items out of the vehicle prior to this time, payment is required up front.
In order to collect your vehicle please provide the Registered Owners Impound Paperwork (or signed document from the police) and photo ID.
The vehicle can only be released to the Registered Owner.
Note – the owner needs to have owned the vehicle for at least 15 days prior to collection.
If you do not want the vehicle back, please contact us to arrange disposal.
If the vehicle is not collected after 28 days we are required to hold it for a further 10 days at standard daily storage rates, and if still not collected, NZ Police will authorise the disposal of the vehicle.
Any outstanding costs are referred to the debt collectors for retrieval.
We accept eftpos, credit card & cash. In order to collect your vehicle please provide the Registered Owners Impound Paperwork (or signed document from the police) and photo ID.
The vehicle can only be released to the Registered Owner.

Accidents

When you've been in an accident and your vehicle has been towed its hard to know where to go from here.
The First step is to contact your insurance company – they will provide you with a claim number.
Please contact us ASAP to pass on your insurer's details and the claim number. They will take care of
everything else for you. If you do not have insurance, its important to touch base with us ASAP.
Every day the vehicle remains in our yard it incurs storage costs so these can add up very quickly.
You will need to pay all outstanding charges and decide what to do with the vehicle.
We can transport it to a location of your choosing, or dispose of it if its not viable to keep.
We accept eftpos, credit card & cash.
